Product Safety and Compliance

Marktox sells children's apparel into the United States. That places every item we list under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and the rules the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) enforces. This page sets out which federal requirements apply to garments in this category and what each one requires.

Scope

Every garment on marktox.com is intended for children aged 12 and under — sizes 2T through 6T, extending to 12-13Y on some styles. All of it is treated as a children's product under U.S. law, without exception.

Federal requirements for children's apparel

The table below lists the rules that govern garments in this category and what each rule requires. It is a summary of the law, not a test report.

Documentation

We do not publish test reports or certificates on this site. If you have a compliance question about a particular garment, email contact@marktox.com with the product name and tell us what you need, and we will come back to you with what we are able to share.

Labels on the garment

Garments arrive with the labels applied by the manufacturer, which are typically a size label and a fibre-content label, and the wording on them may be in the manufacturer's own language. The fibre content for each style is also stated in English on the product page. If a label is missing or unreadable on the item you received, email us and we will replace the item or refund it.

A note on sleepwear

We do not sell children's sleepwear. Our dresses are daywear. They are not designed, marketed, labelled or intended to be worn for sleeping, and they are not certified against the sleepwear flammability standards at 16 CFR Parts 1615 and 1616. If you are shopping for nightwear, please buy from a retailer that certifies to those standards.

Reporting a safety concern

If something about a Marktox garment worries you — a loose bead, a seam that has opened, a reaction on the skin — stop using it and tell us. Email contact@marktox.com or call +1 (628) 895-8056. Send photographs and your order number if you have them. We investigate every report and reply within one business day.

You are also entitled to report a product safety concern directly to the CPSC, independently of us, at SaferProducts.gov or on 800-638-2772.

Recalls

If a recall or a corrective action is ever necessary, we will publish it on this page, email every customer who bought the affected item, and report to the CPSC as required under Section 15(b) of the Consumer Product Safety Act. We keep an order record for every purchase, which is what lets us reach the right customers quickly.
